It is really beat up and don’t know any way do diagnose my problem. Im pretty sure mine was purchased in the 90s or early 2000s as it was passed along 3 people before it was gifted to me. At this point im contemplating buying a epicenter one but I’m not sure if there is actually something wrong with mine. But know that i took the whole system out of my truck and installed it in my car with lc2i the problem persists. I can swear it started sounding like that when I switched the head unit in my truck from e kenwood to a pioneer. Its really annoying because when a bass note hits right around that 45hz my epicenter play’s up and down an octave. I’ve even made my own diy PFM filter out of resistors set to about 7hz and no change. For the last couple of years now my epicenters bass restoration just stops below 45 hz.
